ORDINATION MASS FOR VIETNAMESE REDEMPTORIST PRIESTS

Bishop John Baptist Nguyen Huy Bac of the Diocese of Ban Me Thuot presided over the Mass and ordained nine Redemptorist religious as priests at 8:30 AM today, Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in Saigon. Sharing in the joy of the Vietnamese Redemptorist Province, Bishop Anthony Hoang Huu Thu of the Diocese of Vientiane, Laos, concelebrated the Mass. Also present were Monsignors, Superiors, mentor priests, parish priests, Redemptorist priests, and religious men and women. The new priests were filled with overflowing joy, recognizing that despite their own fragility and weakness, they had been lovingly chosen and called by God to serve as priests within the Redemptorist Order. The Vietnamese Redemptorist Province rejoiced with the nine newly ordained priests. Their parents, relatives, benefactors, friends, and the lay faithful also shared in this happiness. May the Redeemer—whom these new priests follow—grant them, through the intercession of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Saint Alphonsus, and the saints of the Order, the grace to live lives fully committed to the Kingdom of God and to the poor, the abandoned, and the destitute.
