On July 6, 2026**, the Catholic Church of Battambang joyfully celebrated the Holy Mass in commemoration of Blessed Francis Xavier Trương Bửu Diệp , priest and martyr. The Mass was celebrated by Msgr. Enrique Figaredo ,Prefect of Battambang, with the participation of priests, brothers, sisters, and many faithful Christians.
In his homily, the Bishop highlighted that:
> Father Francis Xavier Trương Bửu Diệp was once a young member of the Catholic community in Battambang.
> He devoted himself to protecting and caring for the people.
> He courageously sacrificed his life, filled with faith and love.
It is worth noting that Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, representing Pope Leo XIV ,officially proclaimed Father Francis Xavier Trương Bửu Diệp as Blessed and a martyr on July 2, 2026 ,in Vietnam.
