🙏 Consecration of the New St. Joseph’s Church Building!
May 2nd marks a joyful and historic milestone for the Catholic Church in the Vicariate of Phnom Penh! We are all filled with great joy and gratitude as we celebrate the consecration and inauguration of the new sanctuary of St. Joseph’s Church. ⛪️✨
This magnificent building is more than just a structure of brick and mortar; it is a testament to the growth of our faith, the solidarity of our community, and the divine providence of God. This sacred space will be a place where we gather to pray and offer mutual encouragement to one another.
✨ A Solemn Celebration
The ceremony was presided over by Bishop Olivier Schmitthaeusler, with the distinguished presence of the Bishop of the Prefecture of Kompong Cham, the Bishop of the Prefecture of Battambang, and Bishop Paul Trairong Multree, Bishop of the Diocese of Surat Thani (Thailand). Joining the celebration were priests, religious sisters and brothers, and approximately 2,000 faithful.
