On January 1, 2026, the Catholic parish of Tompong joyfully celebrated the Mass in honor of Mary, the Mother of God, the patroness of the Tompong community. On that occasion, the community also held a ceremony to inaugurate and bless the new tomb, with the participation of Msgr. Enrique Figaredo, Bishop of Battambang Region. Msgr. Sila Suon Hangly, the honorary bishop of the Phnom Penh Diocese and the acting bishop of the Kampong Cham Diocese, was also present, as were many priests, brothers, sisters, and Christian brothers.
