On December 23, 2025, the Battambang Catholic Parish, led by Father Carlos, the priest in charge of the Battambang parish, brought food to 90 refugee families in Banteay Meanchey province, that where Christian brothers and sisters donate money and provide food. In addition, Father Carlos said:
- This is a food from the brothers and sisters of the Battambang Community to the refugees who are facing difficulties. Please endure a little longer and you will be able to return home. May Cambodia be peaceful.
At the same time, Ms. Lina, the elder of the Battambang community, said:
We are Khmer people who have come here to help ease the burden of our brothers and sisters, and we all pray for your strength and physical well-being. May God take care of you.
